Reaction by CZG to information published on EUobserver
Prague, 07 October 2021 ― CZG – Česká zbrojovka Group SE (“CZG”) notes a recent EUobserver article, claiming that products manufactured by its subsidiary Česká zbrojovka were supplied via a Moldavian intermediary to countries subject to an EU arms embargo, namely the Russian and Belarussia markets.
CZG wishes to address these claims by stating that it has not supplied any of its products subject to international sanctions to either Russia or Belarus while such sanctions have been in place. Furthermore, CZG has not authorised any of its customers or business partners to make any such sales and has not issued any consent to such sales on the above-mentioned markets. Export by Česká zbrojovka adheres strictly to all relevant regulations of the Czech Republic, the European Union and the UN, including all the valid restrictions on export of military materiel to specified territories, including Russia and Belarus. All CZG companies also insist on adherence to all valid and applicable rules and regulations by their business partners and customers.
