CZG - Česká zbrojovka Group SE recorded net profit of CZK 575.5m in the first nine months of 2019
Prague, 23rdDecember 2019 – CZG – Česká zbrojovka Group SE(CZG), one of the leading European producers of firearms and tactical accessories, has announced today its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first nine months of 2019.
In this period, CZG generated revenues of CZK 4.9bn, recording an increase of 11.7% compared to the first nine months of 2018, when CZG generated revenues of CZK 4.4bn. The EBITDA of CZG grew by 12% to CZK 1.1bn compared to the first nine months of 2018. The operating profit of CZG increased y-o-y by 29.9% to CZK 766.7m and the net profit of CZG increased y-o-y by 7.5% reaching CZK 575.5m.
“The nine months results are very positive. We are particularly pleased with the almost thirty percent increase in operating profit,” Lubomír Kovařík, the president of CZG, said.
CZG markets and sells its products mainly under the CZ (Česká zbrojovka), CZ-USA, Dan Wesson, Brno Rifles and 4M Systems brands. In 2018, CZG generated total revenues of CZK 5.8bn, reaching EBITDA of CZK 1.2bn and net profit of CZK 600.9m. Last year, 48.7% of CZG’s revenues were generated in the US, 23.5% in the Czech Republic and 15.8% in the European Union (excluding the Czech Republic).
