An award for Česká zbrojovka a.s. in the prestigious Exporter of the Year contest

As regards the annual export volumes, Česká zbrojovka a.s. ranks among the largest exporters of the Czech Republic. Every year, it moves up in the ranking of the nation-wide contest, the twenty-fifth edition of which took place on 9 December 2019 in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague under the title 2019 Exporter of the Year or Powering the Wheels of Czech Exports. Česká zbrojovka a.s. placed 22nd in the category Volume of exports. This means it climbed up four places in the ranking compared to last year.

Positions of Česká zbrojovka a.s. in the Volume of exports category achieved in the past years: 2012 – 40th place; 2014 – 32nd place; 2015 – 31st place; 2016 – 30th place; 2017 – 30th place; 2018 – 26th place; 2019 – 22nd place.

The contest took place under the auspices of the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic. Traditionally, it was organised by Střední podnikatelský stav (Middle-class entrepreneurship society) and Asociace na podporu podnikání ČR (Czech Association for promotion of entrepreneurship). The national award ceremony was an opportunity to bring together the exporters themselves, persons involved in missions abroad as well as representatives of the government administration.
