Colt CZ Group SE
In recent years, Colt CZ has supported tens of projects of charities, non-profit organisations, sports clubs and entities in defence, security, health, education and culture, both regionally and nationally.
Some of the key projects supported by Colt CZ in the Czech Republic include: Military Solidarity Fund; Police and Firefighters Foundation; "Our Security Cannot Be Taken For Granted" conference organised by Jagello 2000; the Krtek Endowment Fund for the Paediatric Oncology Unit of the Children‘s Medical Centre of University Hospital Brno; 450 ml NADĚJE (recruitment of blood donor volunteers); or culture and sports festival Slovácké léto which takes place in Uherské Hradiště.
In the US, Colt CZ supports Folds of Honor via its Colt subsidiary. FOlds of Honor provides help to war veterans and their families through educational scholarships. Colt also supports Habitat for Humanity North Central Connecticut by providing funding and voluntary work for constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes.
Colt Canadas cooperate with Waterloo Regional Police, which hosts annual Backpack Challenges that help assist and prepare youth organizations and children in the Waterloo Region for the back-to-school season. Colt Canada has supported the organisation many times donating backpacks, lunch bags, and other school supplies.
Colt CZ regularly provides its limited edition guns to charity auctions. In 2019, Česká zbrojovka donated the proceeds from the auction of a special edition of the CZ-75 Republika pistol commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Czechoslovak state. The donation went to the Czech Army's Military Solidarity Fund and the Police Officers and Firefighters' Foundation.
In March 2022, the Group donated a limited edition CZ 75 TOBRUK pistol to a charity auction to help Ukraine. The pistol was auctioned for CZK 5 million. This amount was donated to the collection account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic.
In November 2022, a set of two hand-engraved pistols from the Tribute to Legends limited edition that commemorates the merger of Česká zbrojovka and American Colt – a CZ 75 and Colt 1911 - was auctioned. The proceeds of CZK 1.7 million were donated to the Military Solidarity Fund, the Police and Firefighters Foundation and to the collection account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic for support of the Ukrainian army.
Colt CZ has been a long-standing supporter of shooting sports and their associated competitions, international championships, IPSC and USPSA organizations, and its own shooting teams.
